April and Matt Wilson.Their story began in Salt Lake City’s historic Avenues, inside a Victorian mansion haunted by twenty-one restless spirits. What should have been the start of their new life together became a nightmare of chaos and fear. With no guide to the unseen, they fought only with instinct and love to protect their children. When the haunting finally broke them, they fled to the Kentucky woods shedding everything down to survival. Off-grid, stripped of comfort, they faced not only the memory of the spirits but the darker shadows of their own hearts. Those nights in the wild were both terrifying and necessary. It was there, among the silence and the fear, that they found the strength to face the past again. Healing came in pieces, like embers glowing in the dark, preparing them to return to their story and share it with the world. This journey has become a true collaboration joined by author Douglas Burchill, who brought their story to the page, and narrator Annie Weybright, whose voice carries its emotion and truth into the world. Together, they share not just a haunting, but a path of survival, healing, and release.
